this chlorinator kept the water in my inflatable pool clear. however, the top/duck does not screw onto the bottom part well. it seemed to stay together in the water, but if you pick it up by the top/duck part, the chlorine is so heavy that the bottom part will fall off. it's not a big deal, just pick it up by the bottom. i thought i was going to use this chlorinator with a pool cover to keep the pool clean like another reviewer suggested. however, the pool cover said not to use a chlorinator while the pool cover was on because it could cause a buildup of toxic gas...just a heads up.Click Here to see more reviews about: AquaQuik 4003 Derby Duck Mid-Size Pool Chlorinator
